Yup, pretty awesome footage. If you want more, register for http://www.skydivingmovies.com/ there's some pretty kick ass footage in there. Unfortunatly they have slow download speeds.

You can actually find one or two of my little skydiving clips in there, if you want to search for them. Here are the filenames
1. Grad Jump.avi (my painfully shitty graduation jump)
2. CaschSwoop.avi (an equally shitty checkdive and it was my friends first time flying a camera)
3. Josh - Skydiving Music Video.wmv (a slightly less shitty compilation of the few videos I have of me skydiving)

I've got about 55 jumps or so. Haven't had a whole lot of money to jump, my last one was in July. Fucked up my leg on landing on that jump too. Major road rash from skidding across the runway...long story.

Yeah Maple, most Skydiviner/BASE jumpers will tell you to start out with skydiving anyway. BASE required a shitload of experience for packing and landing in tight spaces. I want to get into BASE eventually, but I probably won't even attempt to start until I have at least 200-500 skydives...and that's gonna take a while

Mark^3, you ever skydive or BASE?

You should start doing it man, you'll get over it soon enough. I was on the diving team for 2 years, the first year scared the hell out of me. Evil or Very Mad but as time continued i finally got passed the fact the more i messed up, the number my body was so eventually it didn't even matter.

and if i had a chanced it'd do this stuff in heart beat, it's fun to flip in the air.!!!

You're tellin me! On one of my skydives, on jumprun I crouched in the doorway facing inside, I flashed peace signs to the scared tandem students and screamed as loud as I could as I rolled backwards out of the plane! I stayed tucked into a ball for about 3,000 feet and when I finally opened back up and flattened out, there was a cameraman following me, so I just kept doing flips and barrel rolls until pull time. That was among one of my all time favorite jumps Cool

Here are a couple video links. The first is that compilation of my jumps. All those clips were done when I had less than 30 jumps and I think I was about 35lbs heavier. Oh yeah, my hair was bleached back then too. The other video is just something I thought was interesting.

My first jump was August 2002 I believe. My mom and I met at Kapowsin, WA to make a jump. I'd never planned to do more than one. I just wanted to do it and mark it off of my "Things to do before I die" list. So I did a static-line jump. That's where they take you up to 3K feet, and the bag that your parachute is in is basically tied to the plane via a 15ft rope. You jump out, the parachute opens and you fly around for a bit, then land. When I got down to the ground the very first thing I said resembled "Hell yeah! I'ma do that again!" lol So I did, I progressed through the Static-line student progression and got off student status by November meaning the jumps drop from $50 to $18 or so (plus $10 for gear rental).

Anyway, that's the gist of it. If you are interested, PM me and/or visit http://www.dropzone.com <----That's the worlds biggest skydivers website. The forums there are the biggest resource for skydiving information you'll ever find
